General questions

All peptides are synthesized with a purity of 99%+ and verified by independent HPLC testing. With each batch , you will receive a Certificate of Analysis with the exact purity percentage, confirmation of the molecular weight and the batch number.

Freeze-dried (powder) peptides remain stable at -20°C for 24+ months. After reconstitution, store in an appropriate experimental solvent (e.g., PBS, acetate buffer, or other protocol-specific medium) at 2–8°C. The storage time after reconstitution depends on the chosen solvent and protocol. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by making aliquots.

No. All Retalabs products are intended for laboratory research and educational purposes only. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, medical treatment or personal use. Confirmation of study usage is required during checkout.

We do not provide free samples. For first bulk orders, we do offer a paid sample vial, so you can verify the quality before purchasing larger quantities.

Shipping questions

Orders placed before 15:00 CET from Monday to Friday will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 3:00 PM or on weekends will be shipped the next business day.

We ship via DHL for domestic and EU deliveries. We offer tracking and reliable delivery times. You can select your preferred carrier during checkout.

Netherlands: 1–2 business days
EU countries: 2–5 business days
Outside the EU: 5–10 working days (customs may cause delays)

Neutral, temperature-protected packaging with no product information on the outside, in accordance with standard shipping practice for chemical research compounds. The inner packaging provides temperature stability and shock absorption. If necessary, cartridges are added for temperature-sensitive shipments.

We ship throughout the EU and to selected international destinations. Due to regulatory differences, import restrictions on research chemicals are in place in some countries. Please contact us before placing an order if you are located outside the EU.

EU customers: No additional customs fees.
Customers outside the EU: You are responsible for any import duties, taxes and customs clearance in your country. The content is declared as “research chemicals” with the accompanying documentation.

Yes. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email. You can also track your shipment through your account dashboard.

Order questions

We accept iDEAL (Netherlands), credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer and PayPal. Business customers can request payment by invoice after creating an account, with a payment term of 14 days (NET 14).

Yes. All transactions are processed via encrypted SSL connections. We never store your full credit card information on our servers.

Please contact us immediately if you need to make any changes. We process orders quickly, so changes are only possible before shipment. Once the order has been shipped, the standard return conditions apply.

For institutional procurement, please send us an email with your requirements. We provide volume-based quotes and framework agreements for universities, pharmaceutical companies and CROs.

Contact us directly. We accept purchase orders from verified institutions and proforma invoices.

First, check your spam or junk mail folder. If you don’t find anything there, your email address may have been entered incorrectly. Please contact us with your name and the estimated delivery time, and we will check this for you.

For institutional customers with recurring research needs, standing orders are possible via direct quotation. Contact our team for framework agreements.

Returns & problems

We do not accept returns of opened or unopened products. Only cancel before shipment.

Please contact us within 48 hours and send photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement shipment free of charge and submit a claim to the carrier. Keep all packaging materials for possible inspection.

Mistakes can happen. Send us an email with your order number and photos of the product received. We will immediately ship the correct item and arrange the return of the incorrect product.

Freeze-dried peptides can vary in appearance — some are fluffy and powdery, others form compact pellets. This is normal and does not indicate quality issues. Check your Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for the specifications. If you have any doubts, please contact us and quote the batch number.

Canceled orders before shipment or verified defects. Refunds via IBAN within 5–7 business days.
