Retalabs operates retalabs.nl and supplies research chemicals to qualified researchers, research institutions, CROs, educational institutions and similar organizations. We take your privacy seriously and comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and Dutch privacy legislation.

What data do we collect

Information you provide to us

Contact information – Name, email address, phone number, delivery address
Organisation details – Name of institution, VAT number/tax number
Order Details – Purchase History, Preferences
Payment details – Securely processed via encrypted third-party payment providers (we never store full card details)

Information We Collect Automatically

Technical data – IP address, browser type, device information
Usage Data – Pages visited, time on site, referral sources
Cookies – Small files that help us remember your shopping cart, preferences, and site performance

How we protect your data

Your security is our priority. We implement:

How long do we keep your data

We only store data for as long as necessary:

Order details – 7 years (required by Dutch tax law)
Account Information – Until you delete your account or request deletion
Marketing Preferences – Until You Opt Out
Website logs – 12 months

After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
